Oreo Expectations

Japanese researcher's have designed special goggles that can make our snacks look bigger, so we eat less. It's a techno-take on the idea of "expected satiety." Here's the Colbert Report send-up on the story:




It reminds me of the silver lining Colbert found in the news that candy companies were puffing up their chocolate bars with air to save money on cocoa. "Americans need air pockets," he said, because, "at the rate we shovel food into our faces, it might be the only way to get oxygen."
